What It Means To Have Low Self-Esteem

Self-Esteem is one of those tricky things where you can have too little of it, or far too much of it. It’s something that can shape your personality and your thought processes without even a single thought. I’m someone who usually has too little of it, I have always thought that I take care of my loved ones a lot more than I do myself, if I don’t think much of myself why would I want to spend the time on myself when I can spend time on someone who is “worth” it.

It is sad when you think about it, but while it happens you don’t think of yourself at all. You never think of yourself as worth the time and energy. and it does take time to change that.

I think that’s one of the reasons I got so much into gaming when I was younger (and carried it through to the present) it gives you that good feeling that you matter, that you are integral to whatever you put your mind too (whatever game you play). It’s always been something that makes me feel good, and no matter what state you might be in or place (good or bad) try not to forget about doing activities that make you happy, no one can take that away from you other than yourself.

So, if you ever find yourself in the trap of feeling like your not good enough, or even not worthy of positive/good things in your life, remember that of course you are worth it, you are just as special as anyone, you deserve everything good and positive in this world as much as the next person.

If you perhaps know someone who may have low self-esteem, then make sure you give them a few minutes of your time, to boost their confidence because they are crying out for some positivity, even if it doesn’t show, you’ll have made their day 🙂

Anyhoo that’s it for my little ramble, coming next will be a massive whinge about shit films, I know your all looking forward to that lol 😉
