Poetry I Like

Awful name for this I know, but I seriously can not think of a better one right now, i’ll work on it! So again this is a little different but I thought it might be nice to share some of my favourite poetry verses or whatever that you guys might like, over the course of however long I decide to do this, hopefully you’ll like them, and if not then hopefully the next one will 🙂

It’ll be a mix, but I’ll also include stuff I like from games or anywhere in fact it’s all open. (As long as it’s not illegal!)

So the little one ill be putting here is by William Butler Yeats and is called “He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven” I first heard this one during a movie (Equilibrium) but whats especially stayed with me was a little poem that Sean Bean read out at a certain point in that movie, and I defy you to read the poem and imagine him saying it and not feel goosebumps, or just YouTube it I guess…

He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven

HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

William Butler Yeats

Thanks for reading

Next part of Lost Odyssey coming tonight hopefully.
